Its objectives are to promote Hindi language
and Indian culture. Hindi language instruction is offered
free of charge by the local school boards through the
International Language Programme. The school board provides
instruction, curriculum, the school site and supervision of
staff and students. Mukul Hindi School students, parents and
teachers also participate in several extra-curricular
activities based on national and cultural themes during the
school year. These activities include celebration of
festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Republic Day, Annual
Cultural Function and Annual Picnic. Mukul also presents
academic achievement awards to students at the annual
cultural function. These extra-curricular and cultural
activities are managed solely by the Mukul Hindi School
Management Committee of volunteers, and with the help of
teachers.
